‘Russian Blue’ Organic Seed Potato
$10.00Dark purple skin on round to oblong tubers, plants are very heavy setting so give them more room in the row. It withstands dry conditions better than most. Their texture is much like a russet so they are good to bake or mash, cook as French fry or even make into chips; but they also can be steamed or boiled. Roasting or grilling the halves will actually darken the colour.

Yukon Gold Organic seed potatoes are high yielding and produce a high percentage of large potatoes. A very attractive potato, it also keeps very well and has a naturally long dormancy. Yukon Gold potatoes are excellent for baking, boiling, roasting, and frying. It was originally bred at the University of Guelph back in 1966, which means it became an heirloom just recently.
